Initial Consultation
During the consultation stage,
Frontier staff members work with customers to
develop a machine which meets both their
performance expectations and their budget.
Whether you have fully prepared plans or a
set of production objectives in mind our
experience at building high quality
converting machines will make the process
easier.
Conceptual Drawings:
You can make them, or we will make them for
you. This step helps each of us to make
certain that our thoughts and expectations
are compatible. It is much easier to revise a
set of concept drawings than to recreate
working drawings later on.
Budgetary Quote:
Now is the time for some basic
arithmetic. Can the objectives be achieved
cost effectively? Is the project
appropriately funded? Are compromises called
for? Heres where we find out. A
budgetary quote gives us both a set of
working costs to see if our expectations are
achievable.
Detailed Specifications:
Now that we know it can be done, we need to
figure out precisely what well be
doing. How big does it need to be? How fast
should it run? What parameters need to be
controlled? How precisely? How frequently?
Manual or automated? Visual inspection? Or
digital sensing?
Mechanical Design:
This is where the real work begins.
Now that we know what the machines
supposed to do, its time to figure out
how best to do it. Working from your
specifications, or conceptual drawings, our
engineers will design the mechanics of your
new machine in AutoCAD and output a life size
drawing for your review. This full-scale
drawing, in addition to making plan
inspection easier, also enables close
ergonomic evaluation possible.
Electrical Design
Working closely with our mechanical
designers, our electrical designers make sure
that your new machine will be powered
properly, controlled conveniently, and
monitored sensitively.
Design Review
This stage gives us an opportunity
to review all plans before the machine goes
into production. Well meet with you and
your staff for a presentation. When
were finished, if we have communicated
efficiently, you will be ready for the next
stage.
Approval of Final Drawings
At this point, all of the questions
should have been answered, both yours and
ours. Its time to sign off and start
building.
Parts Fabrication
When we enter the production stage,
the first thing we will do is start
fabrication of those parts which cannot be
purchased from stock.
Order Long Lead Items
Even though some items are
considered "off the shelf" they
need to be ordered far in advance of more
regularly stocked items. Now is the time to
anticipate delays and create deadlines in
order to ensure prompt delivery.
Assembly
Once the parts begin to arrive, our
expert staff begins the actual task of
putting the machine together.
Testing
Once its all together,
well test it to make sure it does
everything its supposed to.
Demonstration
Once were comfortable with a
machines performance, well invite
you for a fully loaded demonstration. If
performance is up to your expectations,
were ready to go. If something needs to
be adjusted, well adjust it.
Delivery
Our team of licensed riggers is your
best insurance that your new machine will
make it from our facility to yours in the
same condition as it was at the demo.
Installation
Our technicians go along with every
machine. We will provide startup assistance
at your location and make sure its
working satisfactorily before we leave.
Technical Support:
Your new Frontier Industrial
Technology machine comes with technical
support for full extent of its useful life.
